Map Progress Checklist for Bring Back The Sun

Purpose of the Checklist

Bring Back The Sun spans multiple sessions for most players. Without an in-game journal, it is easy to forget whether Lava Temple statues were rotated or Restaurant cauldron only failed once. The Map Progress Checklist replaces unreliable memory and fake Trello boards with a simple six-row tracker stored locally in your browser.

Each row corresponds to a map in recommended order: Wizard's House, Sinister Forest, Ancient Ruins, The Restaurant, The Lava Temple, and Boss Fight. Checking a row means you finished that map's main puzzle chain and earned its progression reward where applicable.

Relic Mapping

Four maps award Legendary Relics tied to checklist rows. Sinister Forest grants Tear of the Forest. Ancient Ruins grants Shard of the Fallen Sun. The Restaurant grants Gift of the Ancient Grain. Lava Temple grants Burning Heart of the Earth. Wizard's House teaches tools without a relic. Boss Fight consumes all four relics in finale trials.

When three boxes are checked but Boss Fight still blocks entry, identify the missing relic map and uncheck mentally even if you toggled completion early. The checklist includes helper text on the live tool reminding players of relic names per row.

How Local Save Works

Progress writes to browser localStorage on each toggle. No server stores your data; privacy-friendly and instant. Clearing site data wipes checks. Private browsing may discard progress when the session ends. Export screenshots of checked states before browser cleanup if you care about archival.

Reset button on the live tool clears all boxes for fresh co-op hosting or new account playthroughs. It does not affect Roblox save data— only this wiki UI state.

Co-op Workflow

Designate one checklist operator in voice chat while others solve obbies. Call out "Sinister Forest complete" before anyone jumps to Ancient Ruins without Tear of the Forest confirmation. Streamers overlay checklist browser source on OBS for viewer clarity.

Mixed PC and mobile groups benefit because mobile players can keep checklist on phone browser beside Roblox app while PC handles Restaurant cauldron clicks.

Pairing With Other Tools

After checking Restaurant, open Recipe Order Helper before replaying cauldron for friends. After checking any code map, Puzzle Code Reference supplies digits for speed help without reopening full walkthroughs. Combine checklist with Events page dates if returning after July 2026 patches to see whether Boss Fight hints changed.

Limitations

The checklist cannot read Roblox account state automatically. Honest manual toggles only. It also does not track optional secrets or badge hunting unrelated to linear completion. Future versions may add sub-steps per map if players request granular boxes for fertilizer versus code entry.
