Boss Fight Walkthrough — Restore the Sun

Complete Boss Fight guide for Bring Back The Sun (July 2026). Craft bow arrows, shoot Blue-Purple-Green-Yellow-Red targets, sort ten books by genre, cast Harry/Ignis/Fulgur, and restore the sun.

Overview

The Boss Fight is the sixth and final map in Bring Back The Sun — a castle siege that Protocol: Anomaly added after the May 2026 launch. Unlike earlier zones that teach one mechanic at a time, the finale chains bow crafting, color shooting, wood carving, a ten-book library sort, hidden keys, and three magic words inside a single multi-floor castle. You need all four legendary relics on the wizard's display board before the portal opens.

Plan thirty to forty-five minutes for a first clear. The July 2026 quality pass improved bookshelf category hints on the ground floor, so genre labels are easier to read than in early June builds — but every puzzle answer stayed the same. Wrong book placements still reject titles, and shooting arrow colors out of order still fails the castle gate.

This walkthrough follows the verified June–July 2026 route: exterior bow puzzle, interior carving and tower key, full book collection, Magic Wand spell chain, then the Ignis and Fulgur finale. Pair it with our dedicated Book Sorting guide if you only need shelf answers.

Step 1 — Bow, Materials, and Arrow Crafting

You spawn outside a large castle. Pick up the Bow near the starting area first — you cannot shoot without it, and it does not come with arrows. Search the castle exterior for three crafting materials: a Rock on the ground, a Wood plank near the walls, and a Feather in a separate corner (players miss the feather most often).

Return to the crafting table beside the color clue board. Combine Rock + Wood + Feather to produce five Arrows. That is enough for the target puzzle if you aim carefully. If you miss shots, gather spare materials and craft again — there is no hard arrow limit.

Step 2 — Shoot Targets in Color Order

A clue near the crafting area shows the required sequence: Blue, Purple, Green, Yellow, Red. Climb to the elevated castle wall where colored targets are mounted. Equip the bow and shoot each target in that exact order — not left-to-right on the wall unless the clue matches; follow the sequence on the sign.

Shooting out of order fails the puzzle and forces a retry. Once all five colors register, the castle entrance opens. Enter immediately and grab the Empty Bucket on the ground floor — you need it later for the potion door even though it sits unused for several steps.

Step 3 — Carving Tool, Idol Key, and Wizard Tower

Inside the castle, use the interior crafting station to build a Carving Tool. A reference illustration nearby shows the exact key shape you must carve from a wooden block. Remove the correct sections until the block matches the image and you receive the Idol Key.

Climb the tower, unlock the wizard's room with the Idol Key, and watch the cutscene fully before moving on. Under the table in that room, press the hidden button to activate the moving platform elevator — you will ride it repeatedly for the upstairs Fantasy bookshelf.

Step 4 — Collect All Ten Books Before Sorting

Nine books hide on the ground floor: behind the statue, near bookshelves, on tables, and in corners. One book sits in the tower area upstairs — ride the elevator up and grab it early so you know what genre clue it provides. Do not shelve anything until all ten are in hand; partial sorts waste time when the last hidden title is still behind the statue.

Read the ground-floor wall clue listing shelf genres: A = Poetry, B = Historical, C = Fantasy (upstairs), D = Science Fiction. The July 2026 patch made these labels clearer — use them together with each book's title theme.

  • Shelf A (Poetry): Verses of Midnight, Echoes of Heart
  • Shelf B (Historical): The Fall of Rome, Secrets of Pharaohs
  • Shelf D (Sci-Fi): Mars Colony, Neon Horizon, Quantum Paradox
  • Shelf C (Fantasy, upstairs): the three remaining titles after A/B/D are filled

Step 5 — Old Key, Magic Wand, and Spell Harry

When every shelf is correct, an Old Key spawns on a rock behind the statue downstairs — easy to miss because players look near the shelves instead. Take the elevator up, unlock the chest with the Old Key, and collect the Magic Wand.

Statue plaques nearby use inverted text. Read them carefully: they reference a "Statue of Harry" among other figures. Equip the wand and cast Harry. This creates a magical platform elsewhere in the castle required for the last chamber.

Pick up the Potion beside the wand area before riding the new platform — many players skip it and must backtrack to dissolve the sealed door.

Step 6 — Ignis, Fulgur, and the Ending

Use the potion on the sealed doorway beyond the magical platform. Inside the hidden chamber, plaques teach the final spells Ignis and Fulgur. Cast both with the Magic Wand after Harry to trigger the climactic cutscene — the confrontation is puzzle-driven, not a reflex boss fight.

Let the ending play completely. The rain curse lifts, the sun returns, and you respawn in Wizard's House with completion credit. A replay portal appears for coaching friends; all answers stay identical on repeat runs.

Frequently Asked Questions

What order do I shoot the arrow colors?

Blue, then Purple, then Green, then Yellow, then Red — exactly as the exterior clue board shows.

What are the Boss Fight magic words?

Harry first (unlocks the magical platform), then Ignis and Fulgur in the hidden chamber with the Magic Wand.

How do I sort the ten books?

By genre: Poetry (Verses of Midnight, Echoes of Heart), Historical (The Fall of Rome, Secrets of Pharaohs), Sci-Fi (Mars Colony, Neon Horizon, Quantum Paradox), and the three remaining Fantasy titles upstairs on Shelf C.

Where is the Old Key after sorting books?

On a rock behind the statue on the ground floor — not next to the bookshelves.

Can I start Boss Fight without four relics?

No. Tear of the Forest, Shard of the Fallen Sun, Gift of the Ancient Grain, and Burning Heart of the Earth must all be on the wizard's board.

Did July 2026 change Boss Fight answers?

No code rewrites — only clearer bookshelf hint visibility and UI polish.

Can I replay the Boss Fight?

Yes. After credits, a replay portal appears in Wizard's House.
