The Jail Walkthrough — Part 2 Codes 180 & 1936
Full Jail map guide for Bring Back The Sun Part 2 (July 2026). Escape the cell, solve gemstone and fish puzzles, cast Hayfly, craft the cube, and enter safe code 1936.
Overview — Part 2 Is Live
The Jail is the first playable zone in Bring Back The Sun Part 2 — Protocol: Anomaly's post-finale expansion teased as “A familiar place” on the Roblox game page. The map went live during the July 18–25, 2026 promotional event window, with a broader “New level release” event scheduled for late August 2026. You enter a prison wing filled with observation puzzles rather than obby-heavy traversal.
Unlike the six-map relic campaign, The Jail does not ask for another legendary relic slot on the wizard's board. Your goal is to escape sequential rooms, craft a Door Crystal, and socket it at the exit. Expect codes 180 and 1936, a new magic word Hayfly, and furnace crafting with four coal and two steel pieces.
Finish the Boss Fight and restore the sun before hunting Part 2 portals — community routing treats The Jail as epilogue content after the six-map finale. This walkthrough lists every verified answer from July 2026 playtesting.
Step 1 — Escape the Starting Cell
You spawn inside a locked prison cell. Search the floor for a rock and throw it onto the weight-sensitive floor button near the gate. The button must stay pressed — the rock holds it down while the door opens. Walk through immediately; if the rock shifts, reposition it before continuing.
This teaches Part 2's pattern: objects you carry often serve one puzzle, then become irrelevant. Inventory clutter is lower than The Restaurant, but backtracking still wastes time if you skip readable clues.
Step 2 — Gemstone Color Puzzle
The next room contains five colored gemstones and five matching slots. Place them as follows: left slot Green, second slot Green, right slot Blue. The two center slots use an inverted pattern clue from the blue gem position — middle-left Red, middle-right Yellow.
When every gem sits correctly, the door opens automatically. If nothing happens, pull gems out and compare to the wall color chart — purple and blue look similar under torch light.
Step 3 — Fish Food and Wardrobe Code 180
Collect a bone from the skeleton, grind it in the mortar into powder, and use the powder on the small plant to grow a Tasty Plant. Feed the plant to the fish. The fish spits back a clue: wardrobe code equals the number of books on the floor multiplied by ten.
Count eighteen books scattered around the room. Eighteen times ten equals 180. Enter 180 on the wardrobe keypad and collect the Yellow Key plus a Magic Wand — both are mandatory for later steps.
Step 4 — Yellow Door and Green Torch Clue
Use the Yellow Key on the locked door and watch the short cutscene. In the following room, read the wizard book's left page: “Green torches reveal text the bare eyes can't see.” Pick up the Green Torch, illuminate the nearby wall, and read the hidden magic word Hayfly.
Cast Hayfly with the Magic Wand. Floating hay reveals a Door Handle. Before leaving, grab the Green Key hidden under the computer desk — missing it forces a long backtrack.
Step 5 — Crafting Room: Coal, Steel, and Cube
Attach the Door Handle, unlock with the Green Key, and enter the crafting wing. Read the book's right page: you need four Coal and two Steel Pieces. Two coal pieces sit in the open; break marked objects with the room axe for the rest. One steel piece is visible; break the ceiling rock (stand on the safe for height) for the second.
Load four coal and two steel into the furnace to craft a Crafted Cube. Place the cube under the lamp so numbers appear on each face.
Step 6 — Safe Code 1936 and Door Crystal
A wall clue reads Front, Left, Back, Right — that is the digit order for the cube, not a room navigation hint. Read the faces as Front = 1, Left = 9, Back = 3, Right = 6. Enter 1936 on the safe and collect the Door Crystal.
Carry the Door Crystal to the exit socket near the map's end. Insert it to complete The Jail. Part 2 may expand with additional zones after the August 2026 event — this wiki updates when verified portals appear.
